 United Nations 75th anniversary in 2020, the biggest- ever global conversation on the role of global cooperation in building the future we want.
Tackling issues such as the climate crisis, inequality, new patterns of violence and the major changes we are seeing in population and technology in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals - our shared vision for the future - will require cooperation across borders, sectors and generations.

 Global Risks Report 2020
The 15th edition of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report is published as critical risks are manifesting. The global economy is facing an increased risk of stagnation, climate change is striking harder and more rapidly than expected, and fragmented cyberspace threatens the full potential of next-generation technologies — all while citizens worldwide protest political and economic conditions and voice concerns about systems that exacerbate inequality. The challenges before us demand immediate collective action, but fractures within the global community appear to only be widening. Stakeholders need to act quickly and with purpose within an unsettled global landscape.

 SDS Int'l Group as IRAN Regional Action Center of Global Understanding (UNESCO Chair Program) will support Zahra Nemati OLY to partake at Tokyo 2020 - Test Events
As in May 2018, president of Global Understanding (GU) Regional Action Center in Iran, by acclamation, designated Zahra Nemati OLY as the first Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Ambassador, now, IRAN Regional Action Center of Global Understanding (UNESCO Chair Program) is supporting Zahra Nemati OLY as its UNSDGs Ambassador in The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games – Ready Steady Tokyo, Test Events.

 World Oceans Day 2019: Gender and the Ocean
This year, we strive to build greater ocean and gender literacy, and to discover possible ways to promote gender equality in ocean-related activities such as marine scientific research, fisheries, labour at sea, migration by sea and human trafficking, as well as policy-making and management.

 The World Green Building Council has published a new net-zero report.
The Advancing Net Zero project aims to accelerate the uptake of net zero carbon buildings to 100 per cent in 2050, an initiative which they highlight is critical to limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius by the midpoint of the 21st Century.

 World Bank announces €1.5 billion Sustainable Development Bond
Major advancement in the green economy in support of the Sustainable Development Goals has been met this week. The World Bank has announced a 10-year Global Sustainable Development bond on May 16. The investment goal of €1.5 billion was significantly oversubscribed, reaching €2 billion from 69 investors.

SDS Int’l Group, as a member of the UN Global Compact, made the 10 principles of this compact, the 8 UN Millennium Development Goals and SDG, as its main policy. So that, researching in the concept of a comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development and also, trying to reach a synergy among all national and international activists in the field of sustainable development, is on the objectives’ frontispiece of this group. We try to improve the effectiveness of science and technology, economic, environmental, and educational programs and policies.
